Datasets

The Full series: what the tools compute, released as data. A product is built once per baseline hydrography dataset, on that dataset’s native grid, so FullBasin answers the same questions on MERIT Hydro at 90 m and on HydroSHEDS v2 at 30 m. Each release keeps its own pages and its own files, and every page says which release it is describing.

FullBasin

Version 1.0 released · 1.1 in development MERIT Hydro · 90 m

Global, on the native 3 arc-second grid. Built from MERIT DEM and MERIT Hydro (Yamazaki et al., 2017, 2019).

Version 1.0 released HydroSHEDS v2 · 30 m

North America and South America, on the native 1 arc-second grid, one continent at a time. The basin and region masks are out; the per-pixel layers follow. Built from HydroSHEDS v2 (Lehner et al., 2022).

The 30 m build has the basin and region masks for the two continents HydroSHEDS v2 has released; the per-pixel layers follow, and the other continents follow HydroSHEDS.
